What Is the M1356A Compatible Ultrasound Fetal Transducer?

The IPR Medical FUS-PH01 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) ultrasound fetal transducer that replaces OEM part M1356A. Ultrasound transducers of this kind are used for fetal heart rate monitoring. The FUS-PH01 is a reusable unit on a 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable, and it is shipped as one set per box.

When to Replace Your Ultrasound Fetal Transducer

A heart rate signal that is weak, noisy, or lost more often than usual, or one that cuts out when the cable is flexed, suggests the transducer needs attention. Physical damage is just as telling: cracks in the transducer body, a cable jacket that is torn or kinked, or a connector that is broken or no longer seats firmly. Connecting a spare that is known to work to the same monitor shows whether the original transducer is the source of the problem.
