The Kangaroo™ ePump Enteral Feeding Pump (Model 382400) is a rotary peristaltic volumetric feeding pump originally developed by Kendall under the Tyco Healthcare brand and subsequently sold under the Covidien and Cardinal Health names. For nearly two decades it was one of the most widely deployed enteral feeding pumps in the United States, used in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and long-term acute care settings. Class 2 recalls indicate that use of the affected products may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences, or that the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.
