What Is the Nihon Kohden JL-302T Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The IPR Medical SA-046-30 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) SpO2 adapter cable that replaces the Nihon Kohden JL-302T. It is a reusable adapter with a 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable, intended for use with Nihon Kohden SpO2 technology.

Compatible Monitor Models

Design and Construction

Designed for use with Nihon Kohden SpO2 technology, the SA-046-30 has a 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable and is packaged one per bag. It is a reusable accessory, so it can be cleaned per facility protocol between patients and kept in service while it continues to pass inspection.

When to Replace Your SpO2 Adapter Cable

Replace the cable when the jacket is nicked, cracked, or flattened, when a connector is chipped or loose, or when the contacts show bent pins or corrosion. Signal loss, SpO2 values that come and go, and sensor-off messages that appear when the cable is moved usually indicate a worn adapter. A known-good adapter on the same monitor and sensor quickly confirms the cause.
