What Is the Masimo Compatible M-LNC-10 SpO2 Adapter Cable 2525?

The IPR Medical SA-008RB-30ML is a compatible aftermarket replacement for the Masimo 2525 (M-LNC-10) SpO2 adapter cable. It is not an OEM product. This 9.8 ft (3.0 m) reusable patient cable connects Masimo M-LNCS pulse oximetry sensors to monitors equipped with Masimo SET technology. It is designed to match the original 2525 cable in fit, form, and function.

Compatible Monitor Models

This cable is compatible with the following Masimo SET-equipped Mindray/Datascope monitors: Accutorr V, Accutorr Plus, EPM4, Passport 2LT, Passport XG, T8, V12, and V21. It also fits Accutorr Plus, Passport 2, Passport 2LT, and Passport XG monitors configured with the Masimo rainbow option. It is also compatible with the Bitmos SAT 800, SAT 801, SAT 805, SAT 816, and satPuls, the Atom V-2100G, and the Comen C60. Before ordering, confirm that your device has a Masimo SET SpO2 port and uses M-LNCS sensors.

Design and Construction

The cable has a Masimo SET connector on the monitor end and an M-LNCS sensor connector on the patient end, joined by a flexible, shielded 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable. The M-LNCS interface is a different connector from the standard LNCS interface. This cable will not accept standard LNCS, LNOP, or RD SET sensors. The longer length gives clinicians room to work around the bed, OR table, or stretcher without pulling on the sensor or the monitor port. The cable is reusable and supplied one per bag.

When to Replace Your M-LNC-10 SpO2 Adapter Cable

Replace the cable if you see intermittent or dropped SpO2 readings, “sensor off” or “no cable” alarms with a known-good sensor attached, or readings that drop out when the cable is moved. Cracked or loose connector housings, bent or recessed pins, and a cut or kinked jacket are also signs it should be replaced. Longer patient cables are more prone to being rolled over, pinched in bed rails, and kinked. Biomedical technicians can confirm a cable fault by swapping in a known-good cable and sensor. If readings return to normal, the cable should be retired. Keeping a spare M-LNC-10 cable on hand reduces monitor downtime in the OR, ICU, and med-surg units.
