The HotDog® Patient Warming System (Model WC5X) by Augustine Temperature Management is an air-free, water-free conductive warming controller designed to prevent and treat unintended hypothermia in surgical and procedural settings. Unlike forced-air systems, the WC5X delivers low-voltage current through its patented ThermAssure® semi-conductive polymer fabric in compatible HotDog Warming Blankets and Mattresses — with no blowing air, no waste heat, and no risk of sterile field contamination. The controller supports up to five warming devices simultaneously (Ports A–E), with independent temperature control for Blanket ports (98.6°F–109.4°F) and Mattress port (95°F–102.2°F), dual over-temperature safety shutoffs, and a six-hour automatic safety timer. It mounts to an IV pole, OR table rail, or flat surface — making it a versatile fit for operating rooms, recovery rooms, and medical/surgical floors.
