What Is the M1194B Compatible Adult Ear Clip SpO2 Sensor?
The IPR Medical SS-024-AE10 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) adult ear clip SpO2 sensor that replaces OEM part M1194B. With a short 3.3 ft (1.0 m) cable, this reusable sensor is meant for use with the SpO2 technology shown in the Specifications table. With routine cleaning and inspection, one sensor can move from patient to patient.
Compatible Monitor Models

Design and Construction
Built around an adult ear clip, the SS-024-AE10 uses a 3.3 ft (1.0 m) cable and is designed for use with the SpO2 technology named in the Specifications table. Each reusable sensor is individually bagged. Follow facility protocol to clean the clip and cable between patients, and examine the connector and cable for damage before reuse.
When to Replace Your Ear Clip SpO2 Sensor
Plan on a replacement when the SpO2 waveform turns erratic, readings come and go, or sensor-off alarms keep returning even though the clip is positioned correctly. Physical wear tells the same story: a clip that will not stay closed, a cracked housing, a cable jacket that is nicked or kinked, or bent pins at the connector. To rule out the monitor, connect a known-good sensor and compare the results.
