What Is the M1943NL Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The IPR Medical SA-024X-30 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) SpO2 adapter cable that replaces OEM part M1943NL. Intended for use with Nellcor OxiMax sensors, it runs 9.8 ft (3.0 m) and can be reused from one patient to the next with proper cleaning.

Design and Construction

The SA-024X-30 has a 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable intended for use with Nellcor OxiMax SpO2 technology, and each adapter is bagged individually. Treat it as a reusable accessory: wipe it down between patients following your facility’s cleaning protocol, and look over the full length of the cable and its connectors before each use.

When to Replace Your SpO2 Adapter Cable

Pull the adapter from service when the jacket is cut or kinked, when a connector body is cracked or loose, or when either end has bent pins. Clinically, frequent sensor-off alerts, saturation numbers that vanish and return, and readings that change as the cable is flexed all point to a cable that is wearing out. To rule out the sensor or the monitor, repeat the check with a known-good adapter in place.
