What Is the Compatible Masimo 1969 Direct-Connect SpO2 Sensor?
The Masimo 1969 (LNOP DC-12) compatible SpO2 sensor (IPR SKU SS-008RB-AF30) is a reusable adult finger clip sensor that plugs directly into monitors with a 14-pin Masimo SET SpO2 port. It is a compatible aftermarket replacement, not an OEM Masimo product, built to match the fit, form, and function of the original. Because the long 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable runs straight from the finger clip to the monitor, no separate patient cable is needed. Removing that extra connection simplifies setup and eliminates a common point of failure. Direct-connect sensors are widely used on Masimo SET-equipped Mindray/Datascope Passport and Spectrum monitors and GE Dinamap ProCare vital signs monitors.
Compatible Monitor Models
This compatible sensor works with Masimo SET-equipped Mindray and Datascope monitors including the Accutorr V, Accutorr Plus, EPM4, Passport 2, Passport 2LT, Passport V, Passport XG, Passport Duo, Passport Trio, Spectrum, Spectrum OR, T8, V12, and V21, including Masimo Rainbow Option configurations of the Accutorr Plus, Passport 2, Passport 2LT, and Passport XG. It is also compatible with GE Dinamap ProCare with Masimo (Pro 1000, Pro 300V2, Pro 400V2), ProCare 300, ProCare Auscultatory 400, ProSeries V2, and V300; Zoll E, M, and R Series; Invivo Escort II OPT30 Prism and T8; CASMed 740; Respironics Alice 5; Bitmos sat 800, 801, 805, 816, and satPuls; Comen C60; and Atom V-2100G. Confirm that your device has a 14-pin Masimo SET SpO2 input before ordering.
Design and Construction
The sensor uses a hard shell finger clip with a spring hinge that holds the emitter and detector in consistent alignment across the fingertip, making it well suited for spot checks and vital signs rounds. It is sized for adult patients weighing more than 66 lbs (30 kg). The 9.8 ft (3.0 m) cable gives enough reach to run from a pole- or cart-mounted monitor to the patient without an extension. The sensor is reusable and supplied one per bag.
When to Replace Your 1969 Direct-Connect SpO2 Sensor
Because a direct-connect sensor’s cable runs all the way to the monitor, the cable takes more handling than a short sensor, and wear shows up at the clip hinge, the finger pads, the cable, and the monitor connector. Replace the sensor when the clip no longer closes firmly, the finger pads are torn or hardened, the emitter or detector windows are scratched or discolored, the connector is cracked or has bent pins, or the cable shows cuts, kinks, or exposed shielding. Persistent “sensor off” alarms or readings that drop out when the cable is moved also point to a failing sensor. If a sensor fails to read on a monitor that passes self-test, try a known-good sensor to isolate the fault quickly.
Cross Reference and Interchange Part Numbers
This compatible sensor cross-references to Masimo 1969 (LNOP DC-12) and 2387 (DC-8), and to the OEM-labeled equivalents sold under other monitor brands, including CASMed 01-02-0712 and 01-02-0730, Datascope 0600-00-0120, and GE Healthcare 2027276-001 and 2027277-001. The aftermarket interchange number Sage P10-30M also applies. The OEM direct-connect sensors in this family come in 8 ft (2387) and 12 ft (1969) lengths, so these references identify the sensor and connector configuration rather than the exact cable length. This listing is the 9.8 ft (3.0 m) version.
