What Is the Physio-Control 11110-000110 Compatible 10-Lead ECG Trunk Cable?
The IPR Medical ET-10039R-MD-A is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) 10-lead ECG trunk cable that replaces the Physio-Control 11110-000110. A trunk cable carries the signals from the patient leadwires back to the monitor; this one is configured for limb and chest lead placement, uses AHA designation, and runs 8.2 ft (2.5 m). It is reusable, listed as defib-proof, and intended for ECG monitoring.
Compatible Monitor Models
Five select Physio-Control models are listed for this trunk cable: the Lifepak 11, Lifepak 12, Lifepak 15, Lifepak 20, and Lifepak 20E. A quick look at the Compatible Monitor Models table on the Specifications tab, before the order goes in, avoids a mismatch with the monitor you support.
Design and Construction
As a 10-lead cable, the ET-10039R-MD-A serves both limb and chest placement and follows AHA designation. It measures 8.2 ft (2.5 m) and carries a defib-proof feature. The Lead Type row of the Specifications table identifies the leadwire style it is used with, so compare that row with the leadwires you already have on hand. The cable is reusable and packed one per bag; clean it between patients as your facility protocol directs.
When to Replace Your 10-Lead ECG Trunk Cable
With all ten lead signals running through one cable, a failing trunk tends to show up on several channels at once: multiple flat or noisy traces, lead-off alarms that persist after fresh electrodes go on, or a signal that drops out as the cable flexes. Inspect the jacket for cracks or kinks, both connector housings for damage, and the monitor end for bent pins. Keeping the leadwires and monitor the same while trying a known-good trunk cable shows quickly whether this cable is the fault.
Cross Reference and Interchange Part Numbers
Physio-Control 11110-000110 is the primary reference for this compatible trunk cable, and Physio-Control 805265-23 cross-references to it as well. One aftermarket interchange number rounds out the list; it appears with its brand in the cross-reference table on the Specifications tab.
