The ICU Medical ESP 60 (Excelsior Syringe Pump) is a compact, battery-powered syringe infusion pump designed for the safe and efficient delivery of medications from 3 mL to 60 mL syringes. Originally manufactured by Excelsior Medical Corp. and now part of ICU Medical’s infusion portfolio, the ESP 60 delivers single-button operation with three preset speeds, automatic motor calibration up to 670 times per second, and visual and audible alarms for end of infusion, occlusion, low battery, and accuracy faults. It is well suited to intermittent IV medication administration, piggyback delivery alongside a primary line, or use with a volume-control chamber.
