The ICU Medical / Hospira Plum XL Micro/Macro is a dual-line volumetric infusion pump originally introduced by Abbott Laboratories in 1993 and later marketed by Hospira and ICU Medical. With a single integrated cassette pathway that supports primary, secondary, and piggyback delivery from one device, the Plum XL was widely deployed across med/surg, critical care, alternate-site, and home-care environments before its OEM retirement on June 30, 2015. IPR Medical supports facilities that continue to operate Plum XL fleets with refurbished pumps, recertified components, and field service.
