HotDog Patient Warming System Conductive Warming Controller
The HotDog® Patient Warming System (Model WC5X) by Augustine Temperature Management is an air-free, water-free conductive warming controller designed to prevent and treat unintended hypothermia in surgical and procedural settings. Unlike forced-air systems, the WC5X delivers low-voltage current through its patented ThermAssure® semi-conductive polymer fabric in compatible HotDog Warming Blankets and Mattresses — with no blowing air, no waste heat, and no risk of sterile field contamination. The controller supports up to five warming devices simultaneously (Ports A–E), with independent temperature control for Blanket ports (98.6°F–109.4°F) and Mattress port (95°F–102.2°F), dual over-temperature safety shutoffs, and a six-hour automatic safety timer. It mounts to an IV pole, OR table rail, or flat surface — making it a versatile fit for operating rooms, recovery rooms, and medical/surgical floors.

Four selectable setpoints — 50°F (cooling), 95°F, 100°F, and 107°F — cover everything from post-operative hypothermia prevention and edema management to chronic joint pain and muscle strain relief. The TP700 upgrades over the classic TP600 with a fourth warming setpoint (95°F), programmable therapy cycles (20-minute, 30-minute, or continuous), and a setpoint lockout feature that prevents accidental temperature changes mid-treatment. A three-layer safety architecture — dual temperature sensors, dual microprocessors, and a mechanical over-temperature thermostat — ensures the pad never exceeds the 107°F maximum contact surface temperature. At 6.5 lbs empty and with built-in hose and cord management, the TP700 is easy to position at bedside, in recovery, or in the OR.

Original price was: $895.00.$695.00Current price is: $695.00.The Smiths Medical HOTLINE® 3 Blood and Fluid Warmer (Model HL-390-38) — now distributed by ICU Medical — is a proven routine-flow fluid warming system designed to deliver blood and IV fluids to patients at normothermic temperatures under gravity flow conditions. The HOTLINE 3 uses a closed recirculating solution system that surrounds the sterile IV line with a continuous layer of warmed fluid, eliminating patient line cool-down from the warmer all the way to the access site. The proprietary triple-lumen tubing design keeps the infusate path warm without exposing it to any direct heating element. The HL-390-38 sets a recirculating solution temperature of 38°C, with an electronic primary control circuit that limits recirculating solution to 38°C maximum and an independent watchdog circuit that alarms and stops the pump at 39.2°C — keeping the system inherently free of hot spots. Compatible with the HOTLINE® 3 L-370 Fluid Warming Set (single-use, sold separately), the HL-390 mounts to a standard IV pole and serves operating rooms, recovery rooms, ICUs, and emergency departments handling patients at risk of hypothermia.
