The IPR Medical PETfusion is a veterinary syringe infusion pump purpose-built for the precision demands of small and exotic animal care. Flow rates automatically scaled to syringe size

The PETfusion automatically adjusts its maximum flow rate based on the loaded syringe — from 0.01 to 100 ml/h with a 5 ml syringe, up to 0.01 to 1,500 ml/h with a 50/60 ml syringe. This means you always use the smallest syringe appropriate for the patient, minimizing waste and maximizing dosing precision. Bolus volume is also syringe-size constrained, from a minimum of 0.1 ml up to the full syringe volume, and both manual hold-to-run and fully programmable preset bolus modes are available.

Small body mass patients — rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, cats, neonatal dogs — require infusion rates and volumes that most standard pumps handle poorly.
