The PETite Heat is the PETite veterinary IV infusion pump with an integrated fluid warmer built directly into the unit — no separate warming device, no extra pole space, no additional power cord to manage. It is an exclusive IPR Medical product, available nowhere else. Every clinical feature of the standard PETite is present: 4.3″ color touchscreen, six infusion modes including bodyweight dosing, a 2,000+ parameter drug library, five occlusion pressure levels, adjustable bubble detection, 5,000+ record logs, and calibration to multiple IV set brands. The fluid warmer adds active heating from 86°F to 104°F with tight ±1.8°F control accuracy — all in the same compact, 3.3 lb footprint.

Fluid warmer — key features

The integrated warmer heats IV fluid continuously between 86°F and 104°F, adjustable at any time during infusion. A 43 inch heating tube warms fluid as it travels from the bag to the patient, minimizing loss of drug activity along the line. Four heating elements allow the warmer to reach target temperature rapidly rather than gradually. Dual NTC temperature sensors monitor and regulate heat output continuously for precise, reliable control throughout the infusion session. The heating tube is built with a flexible three-chamber structure — fully sealed and waterproof — so it holds up in the clinical environment without special handling. Safety is managed automatically: if temperature exceeds 122°F for any reason, the heater shuts off immediately without user intervention. A heater mounting base is included for organized storage when not in use.

Why warmed fluids matter in veterinary care

Hypothermia is a significant risk in anesthetized, critically ill, neonatal, and small-body-mass patients. Room-temperature IV fluids delivered at clinical rates can meaningfully drop core body temperature, particularly in cats, small dogs, exotic animals, and any patient under general anesthesia for an extended procedure. The PETite Heat eliminates this risk by warming fluid to a physiologically appropriate temperature before it reaches the patient — without adding complexity to the setup or requiring a separate device on the pole.

The SY0003 Veterinary IV Administration Set is a sterile, single-use, DEHP-free set measuring 91 inches in length. It features a vented spike with 5 micron hydrophobic air filter, a standard drip chamber, a 15 micron inline fluid filter, a roller clamp, a Y-injection site, and a rotating male Luer lock — everything needed for standard IV fluid delivery. Packaged 200 per box. Manufactured to ISO 13485 standards.

The TS-V2 Veterinary Blood Administration Set is designed specifically for blood and fluid transfusion procedures. At 67 inches with an upstream drip chamber, 15 micron inline blood filter, roller clamp, Y-injection site, and male Luer lock, the TS-V2 is the recommended compatible set for transfusion work across IPR Medical’s veterinary pump lineup. Single use; replace at minimum every 24 hours.

Calibrates to multiple IV sets — no supply chain lock-in

Like all IPR Medical IV pumps, the PETite Heat calibrates to multiple IV set brands, giving your practice real flexibility when supply chains are disrupted. Store calibration profiles for the sets you use most. When a preferred brand is backordered, switch to an alternate set already calibrated in the pump and continue infusing accurately — no interruption to patient care, no scramble to find a compatible set.

Three mounting options for any clinical environment

The PETite Heat mounts three ways: attach to any IV pole with the included pole clamp, clip directly to an animal cage with the included cage clip, or attach a carabiner to the top eyelet for portable carry between exam rooms or during patient transport. The same flexibility as the standard PETite, with the warmer integrated and ready to go in any position.
