What Is the Spacelabs 700-0030-00 Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The IPR Medical SA-026-24 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) SpO2 adapter cable that replaces the Spacelabs 700-0030-00. Designed for use with Nellcor OxiSmart sensors, this reusable accessory has a 7.9 ft (2.4 m) cable and goes back into service after cleaning.

Compatible Monitor Models

The adapter is listed for select Spacelabs models identified by number, such as the 1050, 1600, 1700, 90367, 90369, 90469, and 90496, as well as the 91220, 91367, 91369, and several 91496 variants. The mCare 300 and the Ultraview SL 2700 are on the list too. Design and Construction

Units are bagged individually, each with a 7.9 ft (2.4 m) cable designed for use with Nellcor OxiSmart SpO2 technology. Reuse it from patient to patient after cleaning according to your facility’s protocol, and examine the cable and both ends whenever it is reconnected.

When to Replace Your SpO2 Adapter Cable

Retire the SA-026-24 when its jacket is gouged or cracked, when a connector housing is broken, or when the contacts at either end look bent or corroded. Intermittent saturation values, recurring sensor-disconnect alerts, and a signal that returns only when the cable is held at a certain angle all suggest an internal break. Testing with a spare adapter that is known to be good will isolate the fault.
