What Is the Spacelabs 700-0006-00 Compatible 3-Lead ECG Leadwire Set?

The IPR Medical EL-SLS3-90G-A is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) 3-lead ECG leadwire set that replaces the Spacelabs 700-0006-00. Its three individual leads end in grabber/pinch connections and are intended for limb lead ECG monitoring. The set carries a Spacelabs TruLink lead type designation, is reusable, and measures 3.0 ft (0.9 m).

Compatible Monitor Models

The EL-SLS3-90G-A is listed for select Spacelabs models, for example the 90309, 90492, and 91387, together with Elance Series and Ultraview SL entries. A few model numbers are listed both on their own and with a family name attached, such as 90369 and 90369 Ultraview, and the table keeps each entry exactly as listed. Design and Construction

Each of the three limb leads finishes in a grabber/pinch end, and the leads follow AHA color coding: RA white, LA black, LL red. The distal connector type is Individual, the lead type is Spacelabs TruLink, and the leads are shielded. Overall length is 3.0 ft (0.9 m), or about 35.4 in. Packed one set per bag, it is a reusable accessory, so clean and inspect it between patients as your facility protocol requires.

When to Replace Your 3-Lead ECG Leadwire Set

Grabber jaws that slip off the electrode tab or no longer spring closed are a common reason to retire a set like this one. Look also for insulation that has split, hardened, or discolored after repeated cleaning, and for a connector end that is cracked or loose. On the monitor, frequent lead-off messages and a baseline that turns ragged whenever the patient shifts often point to a broken conductor inside one of the leads. Swapping in a known-good set for a few minutes is a fast way to confirm the diagnosis.
