What Is the Draeger 3368433 Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The IPR Medical SA-028-12 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) SpO2 adapter cable that replaces the Draeger 3368433. Designed for use with Nellcor OxiSmart sensors, it has a 3.9 ft (1.2 m) cable and is meant to be cleaned and put back into service rather than discarded after one patient.

Compatible Monitor Models

This adapter is listed for select Draeger models, among them the Infinity Delta, Infinity Gamma, Infinity Kappa, and Infinity Vista, along with SC models such as the SC 7000, SC 8000, and SC 9000XL. On the clinical side, watch for SpO2 traces that drop out, repeated sensor alarms even though the sensor is properly applied, or numbers that jump when someone handles the cable. Substituting a second adapter that is known to work is a quick way to tell whether this cable is the problem.
