What Is the Draeger 3375834 Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The IPR Medical SA-028-24 is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) SpO2 adapter cable that replaces the Draeger 3375834. A reusable accessory with a 7.9 ft (2.4 m) cable, it is intended for use with Nellcor OxiSmart sensors on the Draeger equipment named in its compatibility list.

Compatible Monitor Models

Select Draeger models are on record for this part, including the SC 6000, SC 6002XL, SC 7000, SC 8000, SC 9000, SC 9000X, and SC 9000XL, together with Infinity models such as the Infinity Gamma XL and Infinity MultiMed Pod. Design and Construction

This adapter has a 7.9 ft (2.4 m) cable and is intended for use with Nellcor OxiSmart SpO2 technology. It arrives individually bagged. Between patients, follow your facility’s cleaning protocol, then look over the jacket and both connector ends each time the adapter is put back into use.

Signs that the SA-028-24 has reached the end of its service life include kinks that will not straighten, splits in the jacket that expose the conductors, and connectors that no longer seat firmly. Clinicians may also notice intermittent pulse oximetry values or alarms that clear the moment the cable is repositioned. If a replacement adapter makes the problem disappear on the same sensor and monitor, retire the old one.
