The Smiths Medical Medfusion 3500 is a single-syringe infusion pump built for critical-care precision across patients of all ages, from neonatal to adult. Running Software Version 6 (V6) with PharmGuard medication safety software, it pairs a configurable drug library and hard/soft dose limits with FlowSentry rapid occlusion detection, giving clinicians both programming safety and early pressure awareness. With a delivery range of 0.01 to 1130 mL/hr at a nominal ±2% accuracy and compatibility with 1–60 mL syringes from five major manufacturers, the 3500 V6 remains a workhorse in NICU, PICU, OR, and ICU settings on the secondary market.
