What Is the Medfusion 3500 / 4000 Rotating Pole Clamp with Mounting Plate?

The Medfusion 3500 / 4000 rotating pole clamp with mounting plate, OEM part number 22-1051-51, is the genuine rotating pole clamp and mounting plate assembly for Medfusion 3500 and 4000 syringe infusion pumps. It includes the rotating pole clamp, the mounting plate already installed on the clamp, and four screws for attaching the plate to the pump. IPR Medical offers it as a recertified, used OEM part: each assembly is tested in-house, guaranteed to work, and backed by a 6-month IPR Medical warranty.

Compatible Pump Models

This rotating pole clamp assembly fits the Medfusion 3500 and Medfusion 4000 syringe infusion pumps. It is the rotating version of the clamp, not the fixed, non-rotating style, so confirm which clamp your pump uses before ordering. Contact our team with a photo of your existing mount if you need help confirming the right assembly.

Design and Construction

The pole clamp combines a C-shaped jaw with a threaded clamp screw and a large lobed hand knob for tightening onto the IV pole. Above the jaw sits a round rotating head with a knurled knob. An L-shaped mounting plate is fastened to the mount head and attaches to the pump with the four included screws. The screws shown in the product photos are for reference.

When to Replace Your Medfusion Pole Clamp and Mounting Plate

Replace the assembly when the clamp no longer holds the pump securely on the pole, when the clamp screw is stripped, bent, or binds as you turn the knob, or when the knob is cracked or loose on the screw. A rotating head that is loose, binds, or will not hold the pump’s position calls for replacement, as does a bent, cracked, or deformed mounting plate, or stripped screw holes that keep the plate from seating firmly against the pump. Ordering the complete assembly replaces the clamp, plate, and screws in a single step. Clean the assembly per facility protocol and inspect it during routine preventive maintenance on the pump.

OEM Part Number

This listing is for genuine OEM part number 22-1051-51, the Medfusion rotating pole clamp with mounting plate. The pole clamp alone, without the mounting plate and screws, is offered separately as OEM part number 22-1050-51.
