    B Braun Vista Basic

    $1,295.00

The B. Braun Vista Basic is a linear peristaltic volumetric infusion pump built around a single principle: simplicity without compromise. Designed for ease of use across acute care, outpatient, and home infusion settings, the Vista Basic delivers accurate, continuous and programmable infusions of parenteral and enteral fluids across a rate range of 0.1 to 800.0 ml/h with Vista tubing — or up to 999.9 ml/h with Intrafix sets — in 0.1 ml/h increments. Flow accuracy is rated at ±5%.

The aluminum housing is drip-proof, resistant to disinfectants, and built for the day-to-day demands of clinical use. Straight-line tubing loads quickly without the need to thread complex pathways, and the plain-language LCD display walks operators through programming step by step. The 7.2V NiCd rechargeable battery provides approximately 3.5 hours of runtime at maximum delivery rate. A drop sensor detects upstream occlusions and empty containers, and a data lock feature prevents unauthorized reprogramming during active infusions.

With over 100,000 units in service worldwide, the Vista Basic has earned its reputation as a dependable workhorse — equally at home on a hospital floor, in an infusion clinic, or in a home care setting. Looking for a more modern alternative? The B. Braun Infusomat Space Version U is B. Braun’s current-generation large volume pump platform, featuring an integrated drug library, modular Space system stacking, wireless drug library upload, and upstream and downstream pressure sensing — a natural upgrade path for facilities already familiar with B. Braun infusion equipment.

  • B Braun Outlook 100

The Outlook™ 100 is intended for use with B. Braun Medical Inc. Horizon® Pump IV Sets to regulate the flow of primary and secondary fluids when positive pressure is required. The infusion system is capable of delivering fluid from a negative head height (when the IV fluid container is lower than the pump), and provides clinically accepted volumetric accuracy for all standard IV fluids, including blood, lipids, and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).

Positive pressure is frequently a necessity, but clinical experience shows that high pressure limits may increase the severity of an infiltration without causing an alarm. Because there is a need to control pump pressure settings, the Outlook ES has user-selectable Occlusion Limit settings which start at 75 mmHg and extend to 750 mmHg.

The pump is equipped with distinct audible and visual alarm signals to indicate Keep Vein Open (KVO), low battery, and other alarm conditions.

    Features
    • Promotes patient safety by helping to avoid accidental under- or overdosing using audible
    • and visual alerts
    • Provides flexibility for each care area—ability to customize dose limits to your hospital drug formulary
    • Promotes clinician choice with dose limit override when limits are exceeded during manual programming and titration
    • Visually indicates dose selection with DoseGuard™ software
    • Easy to learn:

    – Manual operation RATE, VOLUME, RUN

    – Automatic Dose Rate Calculator

    – Large, highly visible keys

    • Reduce nuisance air-in-line alarms with air-trapping cassette
    • Stackable modular design reduces bedside cord clutter and errors due to channel confusion
    • Comprehensive line of needle-free administration sets including UV light resistant tubing that protects drug efficacy

For epidural infusions which require higher pressures, the pump has an extended occlusion limit setting of 750 mmHg.

The pump is equipped with distinct audible and visual alarm signals to indicate Keep Vein Open (KVO), low battery, and other alarm conditions.
