Quick answer

Moog Medical publishes the current Infinity Enteral Feeding Pump Operator’s Manual (LS-25356-001 Rev. T, 2025), and the copy we host below is the same edition. The Infinity Orange, the small-volume model, has its own manual (LS-28945-001 Rev. J, 2025) on Moog’s website. The standard (Blue) Infinity delivers 0.1 to 600 ml/hr and the Infinity Orange 0.1 to 300 ml/hr, both with ±5% accuracy, a lithium-ion battery rated for 24 hours at 125 ml/hr, and no routine calibration requirement. Use the manual that matches your model, and check the software revision the pump shows at start-up.

Whether you are training caregivers, checking an alarm at the bedside or setting up an equipment program for a home care fleet, the right Infinity document saves time. This guide collects the documents we host, points to the current manufacturer editions, explains which one you need, and pulls out the specifications people ask us about most.

Which Enteralite Infinity Manual Do You Need?

The pump started life as the ZEVEX EnteraLite Infinity. Moog Inc. acquired ZEVEX in 2007, and Moog Medical now publishes the manuals under the Infinity name. There are two pump models, and each has its own manual:

DocumentWho uses itNotes
Infinity Operator’s Manual (LS-25356-001 Rev. T)Clinicians, caregivers, educators, biomedFor the standard Infinity (Blue). The keypad has a FEED INT key for interval feeding. The copy we host matches Moog’s current download.
Infinity Orange Operator’s Manual (LS-28945-001 Rev. J)NICU and pediatric staff, caregivers, biomedFor the small-volume Infinity Orange. The keypad has a FOOD TYPE key (formula or human milk) instead of FEED INT.
Quick reference instructions and troubleshooting guidesPatients, families and cliniciansSummaries only, available from Moog for each model; not a substitute for the full manual.
Product brochure (MD-41258-001 Rev. E)Purchasing and clinical evaluationSpecifications and order numbers for the standard Infinity.

Moog does not list a service manual in its public download library, and the operator’s manuals state that the pump has no user-serviceable parts. At start-up the pump shows its nine-digit serial number, then the software revision: the letter R followed by a number on the standard Infinity, and the letter N followed by a number on the Infinity Orange. Delivery Sets

The manuals warn to use only Infinity brand disposable sets; others will not deliver the correct dose, may allow dangerous free-flow conditions and may generate hazardous fluid pressures that set off occlusion alarms at unpredictable pressures. The current sets use ENFit connectors.

  • Infinity (Blue): Infinity 500 ml Bag Set (INF0500-E), Infinity 1200 ml Bag Set (INF1200-E) and Infinity Safety Screw Spike Set (INF0020-E).
  • Infinity Orange: Infinity Orange Screw Cap Set (INFOCAP-E) and Infinity Orange 100 ml Bag Set (INF0100-E), plus the INF0500-E, INF1200-E and INF0020-E sets.
  • Important: Moog’s brochure notes that Infinity Orange delivery sets cannot be used with the standard Infinity pump.
  • Change intervals: replace bag sets every 24 hours and spike sets every 48 hours (maximum 1.5 L), and do not program rate and dose combinations that run past those limits.

Quick Reference from the Manual

TopicWhat the manual says
Start-up self-testThe pump shows its serial number three digits at a time, then the software revision, then lights every display segment for 2 seconds; verify all segments and symbols are active.
First use and chargingCharge for 6 hours before running on battery. If the pump shuts down on low battery, charging less than 10 minutes may cause an ER99 alarm.
Low batteryLOW BATT flashes every 3 seconds with a beep every 2 seconds when 1 hour or less remains.
Self-test errorsER01 – ER99: turn the pump off and back on, then check all settings and volume counters before feeding.
Air detectionNO FOOD sounds when about 1 ml of air (about 5 inches of tubing) enters the teal tubing (Infinity).
Food type (Orange)Turning the pump off and on resets food type to formula; if dose and food type are not viewed before RUN/PAUSE, the pump displays CON FIRM DOSE AND FOOD TYPE.
CleaningWarm soapy water, a 5% bleach and water solution or Metrex CaviCide are acceptable; alcohol, Ball Ruthless, Wex-Cide 128 and Vesphene IIse are not. Rinse under warm water and dry. Never clean with the pump on or the charger plugged in.
Hanging the bagHang the bag so its bottom is at or above the level of the pump door; head height of ±12 inches changes accuracy by about ±2.5%.

Enteralite Infinity Manual FAQ

Where can I download the Enteralite Infinity operator’s manual?

You can download the current Infinity Operator’s Manual (LS-25356-001 Rev. T) from this page. Moog Medical publishes the same edition, and the Infinity Orange manual (LS-28945-001 Rev. J), in its online download library.

What is the difference between the Infinity and the Infinity Orange?

The standard (Blue) Infinity delivers 0.1 to 600 ml/hr and supports interval feeding. The Infinity Orange is a small-volume pump for 0.1 to 300 ml/hr with a food type setting for formula or human milk, smaller sets with about 1.5 ml of residual volume, and optional maximum rate and dose limits. Infinity Orange sets cannot be used on the standard Infinity.

What is the flow rate range of the Enteralite Infinity?

The standard Infinity runs from 0.1 to 600 ml/hr, in 0.1 ml/hr steps up to 10 ml/hr and 1 ml/hr steps above that, with ±5% accuracy using Infinity sets. The Infinity Orange runs from 0.1 to 300 ml/hr.

How long does the Infinity battery last?

The manual rates a full charge for 24 hours at 125 ml/hr (9 hours at 600 ml/hr on the standard Infinity, 9 hours at 300 ml/hr on the Orange), with about 6 hours to recharge. The battery’s expected service life is 2 to 5 years depending on use.

Does the Enteralite Infinity need calibration?

Moog’s manuals state that no routine calibration or adjustment is required and that there are no user-serviceable parts. Many facilities still include the pump in a yearly performance check under their own equipment management program.

How do I find the software revision on an Infinity pump?

Turn the pump on and watch the self-test. After the nine-digit serial number, the display shows the software revision: the letter R and a number on the standard Infinity, or the letter N and a number on the Infinity Orange.

Is the Enteralite Infinity waterproof?

It is water resistant, not waterproof. The pump is rated IP25, and the manual allows rinsing it under a stream of warm water after cleaning, with the pump off and the charger unplugged. The AC adapter/charger is rated only IP42 and must be completely dry before it is plugged in.
