What Is the Compatible Masimo 1864 LNCS DCI-P SpO2 Sensor?
The Masimo 1864 (LNCS DCI-P) compatible SpO2 sensor (IPR SKU SS-005RB-PS10) is a reusable pediatric finger sensor for monitors that use Masimo SET pulse oximetry with an LNCS sensor interface. It is a compatible aftermarket replacement, not an OEM Masimo product, designed as a soft tip alternative to the Masimo 1864 (LNCS DCI-P) pediatric clip. The 3.3 ft (1.0 m) cable ends in a Masimo LNCS connector, which plugs directly into LNCS-equipped Masimo devices or into an LNCS patient cable on other brands’ monitors that use Masimo SET technology. A reusable pediatric sensor lowers per-patient cost on units that see a steady flow of children for spot checks and short-term monitoring.
Compatible Monitor Models
This compatible sensor works across a very broad installed base of Masimo SET-equipped devices. Compatibility includes Masimo Radical-7, Rad-5, Rad-8, Rad-57, Rad-87, and Pronto-7; Mindray and Datascope Passport, Spectrum, Accutorr, BeneView, BeneVision, DPM, iMEC, VS, and PM series monitors; GE Healthcare Dash, Solar, Eagle, Tram, CARESCAPE B650, B850, V100, and VC150, and Dinamap B105, B125, B155, and ProCare monitors, plus Corometrics fetal monitors; Philips IntelliVue MP-series and M3001A MMS configurations, SureSigns VS2 and VS3, and Heartstream XL; Physio-Control Lifepak 11, 12, 15, 20, and 20e; Zoll E, M, R, and X Series; Draeger Infinity Delta, Kappa, M540, and Narkomed 6400; Welch Allyn Connex Spot, Propaq, Spot Vital Signs, and 4700 Series; and Datex-Ohmeda S/5 and Giraffe Infant Warmer. The Specifications tab lists every compatible model. Confirm that your device is configured for Masimo SET oximetry, and whether it requires an LNCS patient cable, before ordering.
Design and Construction
The soft tip design wraps the child’s finger without the spring pressure of a hard shell clip, which improves comfort during extended monitoring and helps keep the sensor in place on a moving patient. It is sized for pediatric patients weighing approximately 22 to 110 lbs (10 to 50 kg). The 3.3 ft (1.0 m) cable terminates in a triple-keyed male 9-pin LNCS connector. The sensor is reusable, latex-free, non-sterile, and supplied one per bag.
When to Replace Your 1864 LNCS DCI-P SpO2 Sensor
Reusable sensors wear with repeated cleaning and handling. Replace the sensor when the soft tip material is torn, stretched, or hardened and no longer holds the finger securely, the emitter or detector windows are scratched or discolored, the LNCS connector is cracked or has bent pins, or the cable jacket shows cuts or kinks. Persistent “sensor off” alarms, low signal quality, or readings that drop out when the cable is moved also point to a failing sensor. If a sensor fails to read on a monitor that passes self-test, try a known-good sensor and patient cable to isolate the fault quickly.
Cross Reference and Interchange Part Numbers
This compatible sensor cross-references to Masimo 1864 (LNCS DCI-P), and to the OEM-labeled equivalents sold under other monitor brands, including CASMed 01-02-0906, Datascope 0600-00-0127 and 0010-10-42634, Draeger MP00795, GE Healthcare 2027259-001, Philips 989803148291, Physio-Control 11171-000018, Spacelabs 690-0248-00, and Zoll 8000-0295. Aftermarket interchange numbers include Praymed PSD0153-S and PSD0204-S, Sage P10-49MP, and Unimed U103S-49R. The OEM 1864 is a hard shell pediatric clip; this compatible version uses a soft tip with the same LNCS connector and pediatric sizing.
