What Is the Mindray 0012-00-1514-03 Compatible 5-Lead Mobility ECG Leadwire Set?

The Mindray 0012-00-1514-03 compatible 5-lead mobility ECG leadwire set (SKU EL-DT5-90G-A) is a reusable, aftermarket replacement (not OEM) for the Mindray / Datascope 5-lead mobility grabber leadwire set. It carries the five AHA-coded limb and chest leads (RA white, LA black, RL green, LL red, V brown) from the electrodes to a compatible Mindray mobility 3/5-lead ECG trunk cable. Each lead ends in a pinch-style grabber, and the shielded leads are 3 ft (0.9 m) long, matching the 36 in (91 cm) length of the OEM 0012-00-1514-03.

Design and Construction

This is a mobility-style lead set: the five shielded leads terminate in a molded twin-pin mobility connector made for Mindray mobility trunk cables. Mindray lists the 0012-00-1514-03 for use with these trunk cables: the 040-001416-00 12-pin mobility cable and the 009-003652-00 12-pin ESIS mobility cable for the DPM 6, DPM 7, Passport 8, Passport 12, Passport 12m, Passport 17m and T1, the 0012-00-1745-01 and 0012-00-1745-03 (ESIS) cables for the Passport V, V12 and V21, and the 0012-00-1502-03 mobility ESIS cable for the Passport 2, Spectrum and Spectrum OR. These cables are separate from the standard (non-mobility) trunk cables used with the 0012-00-1261 and 0012-00-1262 leadwire series, so confirm the trunk cable type before ordering. The lead jackets are TPU and latex-free, and the set is sized for adult and pediatric patients and ships one per bag.

When to Replace Your Mindray Mobility ECG Leadwire Set

Replace the set when ECG traces show noise, baseline wander, or intermittent lead-off alarms that clear when a lead is flexed, since these usually point to a broken conductor or failed shielding inside a lead. Grabber springs that no longer close firmly, cracked grabber housings, split jackets near the connector, faded color bands, or damaged connector contacts are also reasons to retire the set. Swapping in a known-good leadwire set is a quick way for biomedical staff to separate a leadwire fault from a trunk cable or monitor ECG input fault.
