What Is the Mindray 0010-30-43056 Compatible Temperature Adapter Cable?

The Mindray 0010-30-43056 compatible temperature adapter cable (SKU TA-MRA-AD03), often called a temp adapter, is a reusable, aftermarket replacement (not OEM). It is a short 1 ft (0.3 m) transition cable that lets a compatible Mindray or Datascope monitor accept 400 series temperature probes. One end connects to the monitor's temperature module, and the other end connects to a reusable temperature cable, such as Mindray 0012-00-0975.

Compatible Monitor Models

This adapter is compatible with Mindray BeneView T1, T5, T6, T8, and T9, BeneHeart D2, D3, and D6, BeneVision N1, N12, N15, N17, N19, and N22 and ePM 10, 12, and 15 monitors, the iMEC, uMEC, and iPM models listed in the Specifications tab, the DPM 6 and DPM 7, Passport 8, 12, 12m, 17m, and V, the V12 and V21, the Trio, VS 8, and VS 9, and select Ubeconn models. It is also compatible with the Datascope DPM6, DPM7, T5, T8, and VS 900, and with the Contec MS400 patient simulator. The complete model list is in the Specifications tab.

Design and Construction

The adapter is a short transition cable. In a typical setup, the adapter connects to the monitor's temperature input and a reusable temperature cable, such as Mindray 0012-00-0975, connects between the adapter and the disposable 400 series probe. The cable is reusable and ships one per bag.

When to Replace Your Temperature Adapter Cable

Replace the adapter when the monitor shows a temperature probe-off or no-probe message with a known-good probe and instrument cable attached, or when temperature readings drop out, jump, or read implausibly as the adapter is moved. A cracked jacket, a loose or bent pin at the monitor connector, or a worn connection at the cable end that no longer holds securely are also signs the adapter should be retired. Testing with a known-good adapter is a quick way for biomedical staff to separate an adapter fault from a probe, instrument cable, or monitor temperature input fault.
