What Is the Spacelabs 700-0008-06 Compatible 5-Lead ECG Trunk Cable?
The IPR Medical ET-5007R-SL-A is a compatible aftermarket (not OEM) 5-lead ECG trunk cable that replaces the Spacelabs 700-0008-06. Sitting between the patient leadwires and the monitor, it is used with Spacelabs TruLink leadwires. The cable is reusable, AHA-designated, set up for limb + chest lead placement, defib-proof, and 8.2 ft (2.5 m) long, and it is intended for ECG monitoring.
Compatible Monitor Models
Spacelabs equipment accounts for the entire compatibility list on this trunk cable. It covers select Spacelabs models such as the 90367, 90496, 91220 mCare 300, 93300, and Qube, together with the Elance Series. Review the Compatible Monitor Models table on the Specifications tab for every listed model, and match it to the monitor on your unit before placing an order.
Design and Construction
The ET-5007R-SL-A is configured for five leads in a limb + chest arrangement and follows AHA designation. Its specified length is 8.2 ft (2.5 m), it carries a defib-proof feature, and it is intended for monitoring. The Lead Type row of the Specifications table reads Spacelabs TruLink, so plan to pair it with TruLink leadwires. Clean it between patients under your facility protocol and return it to service; each reusable cable ships in its own bag.
When to Replace Your 5-Lead ECG Trunk Cable
When a trunk cable fails, the problem rarely stays on a single lead. Expect traces that drop out across the display, lead-off alerts that keep returning after electrodes and leadwires have been changed, or artifact that appears each time the cable is bent or moved. A physical check should cover the full jacket for splits, cuts, and kinks, plus the monitor end for bent pins or a cracked connector housing. To separate a cable fault from a monitor fault, leave the leadwires and monitor in place and run the patient setup through a second trunk cable that is known to work.
Cross Reference and Interchange Part Numbers
Spacelabs OEM part 700-0008-06 is the reference this trunk cable replaces, and Spacelabs 7271 is also listed as a cross-reference. If your purchasing records use an aftermarket number instead, look it up on the Specifications tab, where the cross-reference table sorts each one under the brand that issued it.
