Baxter Flo-Gard 6301
The Baxter Flo-Gard 6301 is a dual-channel linear peristaltic volumetric infusion pump that does the work of two conventional pumps in a single unit mounted to one IV pole. Each of its two independently programmable channels supports full primary and secondary infusion programs, a 10-step Programmed Delivery Profile, volume-time programming, automatic piggybacking, and a dedicated Flow Check display — making the 6301 one of the most capable pumps in the Flo-Gard family.
Both channels share a single control interface with PUMP 1 and PUMP 2 selector keys, keeping the footprint compact while delivering the full feature set of the 6201 on each channel simultaneously. The device runs on 110/120V AC or its internal 12-volt sealed lead-acid battery — approximately 6 hours with one pump running, or approximately 4 hours with both running. Nurse call output, configurable hospital area designator, selectable downstream occlusion and air-in-line sensitivity, five-hour data memory, and an automatic self-test on startup round out a pump built for demanding clinical environments.
The 6301 is an older, discontinued pump, but facilities that rely on it value the space savings and operational efficiency of dual-channel infusion in a single device. IPR Medical maintains a large inventory of Flo-Gard 6301 parts to keep your fleet running strong.

Two pumps. One device. One IV pole.
The Baxter Flo-Gard 6301 takes everything in the 6201 and doubles it. Two separate linear peristaltic pump heads share a single housing and a single mounting point on the IV pole, allowing simultaneous infusion of two independent solutions without the space, cost, or management overhead of two separate pumps. Each channel is fully independent — its own ON/OFF key, STOP key, primary and secondary programs, VTBI tracking, alarm and alert LEDs, and PDP — all controlled through a shared keypad by selecting PUMP 1 or PUMP 2. For facilities managing patients who require concurrent infusions, the 6301 is the more efficient solution.
Full 6201 feature set on each channel
Each channel of the 6301 delivers the complete clinical feature set of the single-channel 6201: flow rates from 0.1 mL/hr precision at low rates up to 1,999 mL/hr primary, a 10-step Programmed Delivery Profile with rate/VTBI, VTBI/time, or rate/time programming methods, volume-time programming with automatic flow rate calculation, automatic piggybacking, an independent Flow Check display, selectable ultrasonic air-in-line detection, and selectable downstream occlusion sensitivity at three pressure levels. Both channels are also suitable for epidural administration.
Configurable for your facility
The 6301 offers an extensive configuration menu accessible to authorized biomedical personnel. Configurable options include occlusion alarm level (3 pressure settings), air bubble alarm size, auto restart count after occlusion, audible switchover notification, alarm and alert off intervals, maximum flow rate and VTBI limits, PDP memory mode (five-hour, semi-permanent, or permanent), and computer control behavior. The hospital area designator feature displays a custom unit label — such as ONCOLOGY, CARDIAC ICU, NICU, PICU, or OR — on the Pump 1 message display for three seconds at every power-on, helping visually confirm the pump is in the right care area.
RS-232, nurse call, and alarm logging
The COMMUNICATIONS PORT on the rear provides an RS-232C interface for remote computer control and monitoring, as well as the nurse call signal output. Computer control and monitoring are independently configurable — the pump can be set to remain in computer control through alarms, drop out on alarms, or disable computer control entirely. The device also stores the last 10 alarm codes per channel with date and time stamps for service review. Five-hour data memory retains programming after power interruptions.
IPR Medical keeps your Flo-Gard 6301 fleet running
The Flo-Gard 6301 is a discontinued product, but facilities that depend on dual-channel infusion continue to rely on it. IPR Medical maintains a large inventory of Flo-Gard 6301 replacement parts — batteries, fuses, power cords, pump mechanisms, and more — to keep your units in service rather than waiting on parts. Every pump we sell is fully inspected, tested, and patient-ready before it ships.
