The GE Healthcare 2017008-001 compatible NIBP air hose is a reusable, aftermarket dual-tube extension hose that connects an adult or pediatric two-tube blood pressure cuff to the NIBP port on GE, Marquette, Dinamap, and Datex-Ohmeda equipment. GE’s DINAMAP-based NIBP measurement uses a dual-lumen design, with one tube for cuff inflation and deflation and the other for pressure sensing, so an airtight two-tube hose is essential for accurate systolic, diastolic, and mean readings in mmHg. It is a compatible replacement, not an original GE part, and it is built to the same fit, form, and function as the OEM 2017008-001 hose.

The gray PVC tubing has an inner diameter of about 0.12 in (3.1 mm) and an outer diameter of about 0.24 in (6.2 mm) and resists kinking. When to Replace Your GE NIBP Air Hose

A leak in either lumen of a dual-tube hose disrupts the pressure measurement. Replace the hose when the monitor reports “cuff leak,” “NIBP overpressure,” or measurement-failed messages with a known-good cuff, when cycles take noticeably longer or repeat, or when readings disagree with a manual check. Also replace it if the tubing has cracked, hardened, or kinked near the connectors, if the black block no longer seats firmly in the monitor, or if a twist-lock fitting no longer locks onto the cuff. A leak test with an NIBP simulator quickly confirms whether the hose is at fault.
