The Masimo 2502 (M-LNCS DCIP) compatible SpO2 sensor (IPR SKU SS-007RB-PF10) is a reusable pediatric finger clip sensor for Masimo SET-equipped devices that use the M-LNCS sensor interface. It is a compatible aftermarket replacement, not an OEM Masimo product, built to match the fit, form, and function of the original. If a child needs extended continuous monitoring, a soft tip or adhesive sensor may be more comfortable. The sensor is sized for pediatric patients weighing approximately 22 to 110 lbs (10 to 50 kg). The 3.3 ft (1.0 m) cable terminates in an M-LNCS connector. The sensor is reusable and supplied one per bag.

When to Replace Your 2502 M-LNCS DCIP SpO2 Sensor

Finger clip sensors used in EMS and emergency settings take heavy handling, and wear shows up first at the hinge, the finger pads, and the connector. Replace the sensor when the clip no longer closes firmly, the finger pads are torn or hardened, the emitter or detector windows are scratched or discolored, the M-LNCS connector is cracked or damaged, or the cable jacket shows cuts or kinks. Persistent “sensor off” alarms or readings that drop out when the cable is moved also point to a failing sensor. Keeping a pediatric spare on each truck or crash cart prevents staff from having to improvise with an adult sensor.
