What Is the Compatible Mindray 0012-00-1261-01 5-Lead ECG Leadwire Set?

The Mindray 0012-00-1261-01 compatible 5-lead ECG leadwire set (IPR SKU EL-MR5-90S-A) is a reusable, shielded limb and chest lead set with snap electrode ends and AHA color coding. It is a compatible aftermarket replacement, not an OEM Mindray product, built to match the 5-lead configuration, AHA labeling, and molded twin-pin connector of the original. The five 3 ft (0.9 m) leads join at a molded yoke that plugs into a Mindray or Datascope 3/5-lead ECG trunk cable, so worn leadwires can be replaced without replacing the trunk cable.

This leadwire set is designed for Mindray and Datascope monitors that use the twin-pin 3/5-lead ECG trunk cable, including the Passport 2, Passport 8, Passport 12 and 12m, Passport 17m, Spectrum and Spectrum OR, Trio, BeneView T1, T5, and T8, BeneVision N1, BeneHeart D3 and D6, the DPM 4 through DPM 7, the iMEC, cPM, and ePM series, and the PM-5000 through PM-9000. Design and Construction

Each lead is shielded to reduce electrical interference and help produce a clean ECG trace in busy clinical environments. The snap ends lock onto standard snap-style electrodes, the most common electrode type in hospital and EMS use, and resist accidental disconnection when the patient moves. The leads follow AHA color coding (RA white, LA black, RL green, LL red, V brown) for fast, correct electrode placement, and the five-lead configuration adds a chest lead for continuous monitoring of a single precordial view. The molded yoke connector seals the lead junction against fluid and wear. The set is reusable and supplied one per bag.

When to Replace Your ECG Leadwire Set

Leadwires take the most handling of any part of the ECG system, so they usually wear out before the trunk cable. Replace the set when a snap no longer seats firmly or releases too easily from the electrode, a lead jacket is cracked, cut, or stiff, the molded yoke is loose or damaged, or the color coding has worn off so leads can’t be identified. Noisy or wandering baselines, intermittent “lead off” alarms on one lead, and artifacts that appear when the leads are moved often mean a broken conductor or a failed shield inside one of the wires.
