Built for veterinary care — from the ground up
The PETite is not a repurposed human pump. It is a veterinary IV infusion pump designed specifically for the clinical realities of animal care — where patient sizes range from a 2 lb kitten to a 200 lb dog, where bodyweight-based dosing is standard practice, and where a pump needs to be lightweight enough to move between exam rooms and durable enough to survive a busy practice. At 3.3 lbs with IP44 water resistance, a 4.3″ color touchscreen, and a flow rate range from 0.10 to 2,000 ml/h, the PETite covers every patient size and every therapy type your clinic encounters.
Six infusion modes including bodyweight and drug library
The PETite supports six infusion modes: ml/h (Rate and Time), Bodyweight, Drip, Drug Library, Micro, and Sequence. Bodyweight mode automatically calculates delivery rate from entered concentration and patient weight — critical for accurate dosing across the full spectrum of veterinary patients. The built-in drug library holds 2,000+ drug parameters for fast, guided programming that reduces the risk of calculation errors. Micro mode supports ultra-low-rate delivery for the smallest patients, and Sequence mode enables multi-step infusion programs for complex protocols.
Calibrates to multiple IV sets — use what you have in stock
The PETite — like all IPR Medical IV pumps — calibrates to multiple IV set brands, giving your practice real flexibility in supply chain management. Rather than being locked into a single manufacturer’s tubing, you can store calibration profiles for the sets you use most. When a preferred brand is backordered or unavailable, simply select the alternate set already calibrated in the pump and continue infusing accurately without any interruption to patient care. In a market where IV supply shortages are an ongoing reality, this capability is a meaningful operational advantage for any veterinary practice.
IV administration sets and blood sets — in stock from IPR Medical
IPR Medical stocks compatible IV administration sets and blood administration sets designed for use with the PETite, PETite Heat, and SnipPet platforms — so you can source pump and consumables from one place.
The SY0003 Veterinary IV Administration Set is a sterile, single-use, DEHP-free set measuring 91 inches in length. It features a vented spike with 5 micron hydrophobic air filter, a standard drip chamber, a 15 micron inline fluid filter, a roller clamp, a Y-injection site, and a rotating male Luer lock — everything needed for standard IV fluid delivery. Packaged 200 per box. Manufactured to ISO 13485 standards.
The TS-V2 Veterinary Blood Administration Set is designed specifically for blood and fluid transfusion procedures. At 67 inches with an upstream drip chamber, 15 micron inline blood filter, roller clamp, Y-injection site, and male Luer lock, the TS-V2 is the recommended compatible set for transfusion work across IPR Medical’s veterinary pump lineup. Single use; replace at minimum every 24 hours.
Contact IPR Medical at 855-477-8866 or cs@iprmed.com to check current pricing and availability, or to discuss box quantities for your practice.
Comprehensive alarm coverage and 5,000+ record logs
The PETite monitors 20 alarm and alert conditions including air bubbles, occlusion pre-alarm, high pressure, pressure drop error, abnormal drip rate, empty drip chamber, VTBI near end, VTBI complete, and low battery — with adjustable alarm volume and an optional drop sensor for additional oversight. Over 5,000 record logs provide a complete infusion history for patient records and compliance. Last therapy recollection recalls the previous infusion program for faster setup on repeat patients.
Also available — PETite Heat and SnipPet
Need warmed fluids? The PETite Heat™ adds an integrated fluid warmer to the PETite platform — ideal for surgeries, hypothermia-prone patients, critical care cases, and any scenario where maintaining fluid temperature matters. Prefer a simplified interface without a touchscreen? The SnipPet™ is IPR Medical’s non-touchscreen veterinary IV pump, purpose-built for practices that want reliable infusion without the added complexity. IPR Medical also offers veterinary syringe pumps — view the full IPR Medical product lineup here.
