What Is the Mindray 0010-20-42712 Compatible SpO2 Adapter Cable?

The Mindray 0010-20-42712 compatible SpO2 adapter cable (SKU SA-053X-30) is a reusable, aftermarket replacement (not OEM). It is the extension cable that connects a Nellcor OxiMax-compatible SpO2 sensor to the monitor's SpO2 input. The cable is 9.8 ft (3.0 m) long.

Compatible Monitor Models

This cable is compatible with Mindray BeneView T1, T5, and T8, the BeneHeart D6, BeneVision N12, N15, N17, N19, and N22, ePM 10, 12, and 15, and VS-600 monitors, the Passport 8, 12, 12m, and 17m, select iMEC, uMEC, iPM, and cPM models, and the VS 8 and VS 9 series. It also fits Datascope Accutorr 3 and Accutorr 7, BeneVision N1, DPM4, DPM5, DPM6, DPM7, MEC 12, MPM, and PM 6800 monitors. Several other Mindray models, including the BeneView T6 and T9, BeneHeart D2 and D3, and select iPM and uMEC models, are compatible only when equipped with the Nellcor OxiMax SpO2 option. Design and Construction

The adapter cable is designed for Nellcor OxiMax sensor technology, so it should be paired with OxiMax-compatible sensors. At 9.8 ft (3.0 m), the cable gives staff room to position the monitor away from the bedside while the sensor stays on the patient. It is reusable and ships one per bag.

When to Replace Your SpO2 Adapter Cable

Replace the adapter cable when the monitor shows sensor-off or no-sensor messages with a known-good sensor attached, or when SpO2 and pulse readings drop out or turn erratic as the cable is moved. Cracked or kinked jackets, bent or recessed pins at the monitor connector, and a loose or worn connector at the sensor end are also signs the cable should be retired. Testing with a known-good adapter cable is a quick way for biomedical staff to separate a cable fault from a sensor or monitor SpO2 board fault.
