The GE Marquette AM4/AM5 compatible 10-lead ECG leadwire set is a reusable, aftermarket set of 10 individual leads for diagnostic 12-lead ECG. Each lead runs from an electrode on the patient to its own port on the AM4 or AM5 acquisition module, which digitizes the signals and sends them to the electrocardiograph or stress system. Because the leads are individual rather than bundled into one trunk, a single damaged lead can be identified and handled on its own. The leads follow the AHA color code for the four limb positions and six precordial positions. The gray TPU jacket is about 0.12 in (3.0 mm) in diameter and stays flexible through repeated cleaning. The set is latex-free, non-sterile, rated for adult and pediatric use, weighs about 0.4 lbs, and ships as one set per bag.
